Mountains
& dusk & learning the throat
as a deer part.
Heart
orphans the carcass:
spray of vessels & shells
of gilded metal gathered like a shaved
bowl of iceIridescence
off the tail of a belle mer-
maid
drowning
& dream
those blue pine
needles near. You who so
list to hunt
