Ala Alwadiya is a Gazan digital artist, specialized in illustrating children’s books and motion graphics.

Before the 7th of October she had a life full of colors and beauty, she had a job that she loved and students that she used to teach. During the ongoing genocide, Ala lost her home in Gaza. She was displaced with her family to the south in Rafah, then to Deir El Balah, and finally to Khan Yunis, moving from a place to another trying to escape death.
